Linguistique contrastive, énonciation et corpus

This course will focus on lexicon, word-formation processes and phraseology (collocations, idioms) across languages and will point out syntactic, phonological and translational aspects underlying lexical devices as well as differences and similarities between languages in the construction of meaning and the conception of reality through lexicon.

Acquire the main terminology in lexicology; be able to defend a linguistic stand in lexicology based on the reading and discussion of scientific papers and on the tools provided in the course.
